E.A.T.S. -- Educational Assistance Through Scholarship -- is a gala evening of gourmet specialties prepared by featured local eateries, and UW-BC Faculty, Staff and Students. The event’s proceeds support UW-BC Foundation, which provides scholarships, supports faculty and student development activities, provides funds for a public lecture series, and funds a spectrum of campus improvements.
Approaching its ninth year, E.A.T.S. has been a growing success—2017 saw an audience of nearly 350! Ticket prices start at $40, and range up to $100 for “Patrons” and $500 for “Benefactors”. What Takes Place: Along with the extensive and diverse food sampling there will be an evening of various ongoing activities: raffles, silent and live auctions of quality items and experiences; several varieties of musical entertainment; and cash wine/beer bars. The admission ticket includes all food samples. There will be various seating areas for guests to comfortably socialize, along with typical mingling throughout the extensive event area in Meggers and Ritzinger Halls and the beautiful “Commons” area.
