Description
This cabaret will be a compilation of musical theatre songs about race, gender and character stereotypes. The song cycle will be interspersed with real stories from the performers who have been affected by these prejudices and how they fought them as well as stories about how the theatre community rallied around them in difficult times. All proceeds from this night of music will go to Life After Hate and organization that is working to end the spread of hate groups and (yet to be determined) which works with young people in underprivileged communities to broaden their arts education and awareness of their life potential.
