Dear Student, We are very excited to inform you that you have been invited to attend "Summer School," San Diego's ONLY electronic dance music event exclusive to current or recently graduated high school students (Class of 2016). When: 6pm - 10pm, Saturday August 6th, 2016 Venue: The Irenic - 3090 Polk Ave, San Diego, CA 92104 Theme: Neon Jungle (animal costumes, neon clothing, glow sticks, and anything tribal!) In the Neon Jungle, anything can happen! We'll be bringing you variety of musical styles this night and encouraging you to bring our your inner beast by dressing up as your favorite animal! Let all your friends know about this event because it's gonna be WILD :) We will have a kandi bracelet station with more variety of beads available, professional event lighting, a powerful fog machine, a LOUD sound system, talented DJs that peform all over the Southern California area, and great vibes. We have also found a way to make the venue dark inside from the beginning, so don't be shy to come out early and dance! We'll also be celebrating a few birthdays at this event! Set Times: 6:00pm - Alex Kayes (House) 7:00pm - Tommy Maverick (Twerk/Trap/Dubstep) 8:00pm - Mike Clarke (Jungle Terror/EDM) 9:00pm - Battlesh!pp (Trap) Our mission is to provide SAFE dance music events for high school students, spreading the beautiful culture of the electronic dance music scene to the next generation! We strongly urge you to attend the event sober and to bring your best vibes :) For the safety of our guests, many of which will be under the age of 18, we have an upper age limit of 19, but the event is open to anyone in high school. Please bring your most recent high school ID or a California ID to prove that you are currently a high school student or recent graduate.
