It's that time of the year again when we celebrate southern culture by way of the Kentucky Derby. Big hats, sundresses, seer sucker suits, bow ties, and straw hats are just a few of the fashion spectacles that create the derby experience. What better way to celebrate the evening and night time of derby day than with the A-List! 

A-List is hosting the Official Denver Derby After Party on Saturday May 3rd at starting at 8 p.m. at Kevin Taylor's spectacular Limelight Supper Club and Lounge located in the Denver Center for Performing Arts directly opposite the Buell Theatre. This is destined to be one of the biggest events of the year at one of Denver's hidden gems, Limelight. The musical entertainment will be provided by one of Denver's top, most diverse djs, KDJ Above

This event will also be co-hosted by the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce, Denver's Radio Personality Ya Girl Cedes & Michelann Sweeney-Cordero.  Many more co-hosts to be announced!

A portion of the Derby After Party tickets will be donated back to the Colorado Association of Black Professional Engineers and Scientists.  The Colorado Association of Black Professional Engineers and Scientists is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging African-Americans and other under-represented youth to pursue science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers.  By doing so, the number of minority STEM professionals will increase to the level that better represents the minority population, while assisting the industry in meeting the growing demand for STEM professionals.
