Description
Reserve tickets for "Stars of the Pharaohs" planetarium show at the October 5, 2018 Astronomy Night at the Mesa Community College Planetarium.
Showings of "Stars of the Pharaohs" are 35 minutes in length. There will be six showings in October due to the longer run-time of "Pharaohs". Shows start at 6:00pm, 6:45pm, 7:30pm, 8:15pm, 9:00pm, 9:45pm. For each planetarium show, half of the tickets are available for reserve. Free tickets will be available at the ticket table in front of the planetarium entrance first-come, first-served beginning at 5:30pm on the night of the show, October 5. The line for seating begins 15 minutes prior to each show start time. Guests with reserved tickets should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to show time in order to check in to ensure a place in the reserve line for seating. There will be no late seating due to the dark interior of the planetarium once the show begins. Click here for the webpage for the MCC Astronomy Nights, including a current schedule. The Planetarium is located on the south side of the Physical Science Building (PS 15) in the southwest corner of MCC's Southern & Dobson campus. No outside food or drink is allowed in the MCC Planetarium. No flash photography or the use of cellphone flashlights is allowed during the planetarium show. Please silence your phone for the duration of the show.
Additional Information
The MCC Planetarium has 52 seats, including two spaces for wheelchair seating. There is also room to park strollers or walkers in the corners of the planetarium space.
