Description
Mihaela and Gabriela Modorcea–American identical twin sisters born in the magical land of Transylvania a.k.a. Indiggo Twins (www.wickedclone.com) are divinely inspired, incredibly talented, and fiercely hardworking artists. They are multi-talented artists, hailed by the press as “The Renaissance Women of Entertainment”, “wildly inventive,” inspiring audiences to follow their greatest Purpose with their “immortal performances.” (City Guide NY).

Indiggo Twins are the composers, writers, choreographers and performers of the highly acclaimed “Wicked Clone the Cinema Musical”  (www.wickedclone.comwhich they have performed 5 and 6 times a week off Broadway at the Davenport Theatre, St. Luke’s Theatre, the American Theatre of Actors and most recently at The Black Box Theatre of Live Nation, as seen and heard on FOX TV, Broadway World TV, Am 970, etc.

Theatre critic Griffin Miller, City Guide NY / New York Times writes:

...This wildly inventive show—involving singing, dancing, time-travel, film, and a symphonic soundtrack—beckons theatregoers to the underbelly of Nuevo Entertainment. This rare piece of visual and audio creativity was written, composed, designed, and choreographed by the Indiggo Twins—Mihaela and Gabriela Mordorcea. Based on their 500-page bestseller Wicked Clone or how to deal with the evil, the musical turns the tables on tradition by telling “the story of a vampire bitten by a human being. Go for the glam, but stay for the supernatural ambience, unique staging, and, of course, the performances: immortal."

Mihaela and Gabriela are both professional actresses (graduates with honors of the National University of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography of Bucharest,) having performed the leading roles in multiple award winning musicals Europe wide (The Two OrphansThe Future is in EggsThe Bear ) as well as guest-starred in TV series such a LAW & Order: SVU, HBO “High Maintenance,”  films such as “Van Wilder II”, “No Love in The City”, etc.

Mihaela and Gabriela were also fortunate to study theater & film with directors Francis Ford Coppola, Roman Polanski, Andrei Serban, and Krzysztof Zanussi. The Modorcea twins also studied Acting at Schule des Theaters “Der Keller” in Cologne, Germany.

“Our path is to create original works of Art which bring the audience to a second dimension - the dimension of their Higher Self, Divine Self.” states Mihaela, the 5-minute older twin sister.

The twins are both a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter duo featured and credited on the multi-platinum and 4-time Grammy-winning album “Watch the Throne” by Jay-Z and Kanye West. The twins have been ranked amongst the 20 best white girl vocals in rap history: http://www.complex.com/music/2013/01/the-20-best-white-girl-vocal-samples-in-rap-history/jay-z-kanye-west-murder-to-excellence

Indiggo Twins started singing and performing on big stages at the very young age of 12. They have been trained in canto, piano, guitar, traditional and modern dances since the age of 6. They speak English, French, German and Romanian and can sing in seven different languages.

Indiggo Twins are composers, lyricists & music producers who wrote, orchestrated and produced 300 of their songs, 25 of each are included on “Wicked Clone or How To Deal With the Evil” the Original Off Broadway Cast Recording released with Broadway Records, featured in “Wicked Clone The Cinema Musical”: https://www.broadwayrecords.com/signed-cds/wicked-clone-signed-cd
