Eva and The Vagabond Tales will perform December 5th 2015, at the Diamond Valley Arts Center, 123 N. Harvard St., Hemet, Ca. 92543. Admission is $15 for Non Members and $10 For Members Eva and the Vagabond Tales is an old-time folk group that puts Western, Gypsy Folk, and Ragtime into a musical melting pot, creating an alluring sound that "transcends time and continents". The Southern California based group was formed in 2011 by Eva Mikhailovna and is now a six piece ensemble. Since the formation of the group in 2011, the band released a self-titled EP in 2012, and a full length album entitled "Letters From the Moon," in the fall of 2013. Though numerous friends and talented musicians have come through the years and added their personal touch to the music, the band currently consists of six unique musical personalities. Al Arteaga plays bass and baritone ukelele, adding a melodic touch to the undertones of the band; Jasmine Capitulo plays accordion and melodica to add her precise and rhythmic melodies; Thomas Miskell, on trumpet and piano, brings a fiery and soulful touch to the music; Carol Heller, on vocals and lead guitar, adds beautiful vocal harmony and tone, along with distant western sounds on her guitar; and Aaron Fleener, who plays drums, finalizes the sound with his tasteful use of percussion and creative effects. MUSIC AT THE CENTER is a fundraiser for The DVAC and its programs. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the concert beginning at 7:00pm. Items Not Allowed
Please No Outside Food or Beverages.
