Linda Ray Description
Following her sold out cabaret debut in 2013 and new sold out show in June, singer Linda Ray returns with a repeat performance of her show, PORTRAIT. As she proved in her previous Duplex appearances, Linda has a knack for including delightful but rarely heard songs and doing surprising arrangements of familiar material. You'll hear such stalwarts as Sondheim, Bernstein, Lennon & McCartney, Berlin, and Frishberg as well as such relative newcomers as David Pomeranz and Amanda McBroom Sharing the stage will be Music Director Wells Hanley on piano and Noah Hoffield on cello. Bistro Award-winner Gerry Geddes is directing. This is also a celebration of a rather important birthday that is just slightly over 29! So come to laugh, to cry, and to see this entertaining portrait of a cabaret artist in her prime.
