The Rural Symposium at ABAC: Reconsidering Rural in the 21st Century will feature distinguished experts and scholars including United States Congressman Sanford Bishop (GA-2nd),  Dr. Cornelia Flora, Professor Emeritus at Iowa State University and current Fulbright Scholar to the University of Cordova (Spain), Michael LeBroad, Chief Marketing Officer for Rural Media Group, Georgia Assembly Representative Jason Shaw (Dist 176), Chair of the Georgia Legislative Rural Caucus, and Michael Sligh, founding member of RAFI-USA.
