The vast majority of bondage is done with restraint or immobilization as a goal. But rope can also be used to enhance mobility and explore freedom of movement. This class on flowing through the air with mobile ("marionette") suspensions will show you how! This Western-style, bottom-focused bondage is far removed from the rigidity and restriction of traditional bondage, and lends itself well to fun, playful, exhibitionistic scenes (or to nasty predicaments). The instructors will cover safety concerns specific to this rig and review the necessary equipment/supplies. They will then show several variations on a mobile suspension- attaching from just the hip (using a Leto harness), hip and chest, and one and two point variations. 

Class from 1-5:30pm, doors open at 12:30pm

Cost: $75 per couple or self-rigging single. Singles are only allowed if self-rigging, instructors cannot pair people up for practice during class. Tickets are pre-purchase ONLY and limited to 8 couples/self-rigging singles, to ensure everyone has time on a suspension point.

This is a hands on class, it is expected that each person being rigged will get "air time."

Pre-requisites: 

* Tops: This is a fast-moving class that assumes an intermediate level of suspension knowledge- it is not appropriate for bondage beginners. 

* Bottoms: You must be healthy enough for suspension in general, and inversion specifically. Mobile suspensions are not necessarily strenuous (they can be quite comfortable), but getting the most out of mobile suspensions requires body awareness & some degree of fitness. * Self-riggers: Same requirements as for tops AND bottoms. Additionally note that while one mobile suspension variation that will be shown is excellent for self-rigging, some variations shown cannot be easily self-rigged.
