AHA BLS Instructor Course

This fee includes an access code for BLS Instructor Online Essentials and eCard.

Access codes will be emailed to each candidate upon completion of purchase.

eCards will be provided to candidates upon completion of:

The instructor essentials
The hands on in-person class
Successful monitoring of a course by an AHA Training Faculty

Candidates must be approved by the GateWay Community College Training Center prior to enrolling into this course.

Candidates must possess an AHA BLS Provider card prior to taking the BLS Instructor course.

Upon purchase of the online essentials, candidates should create an elearning.heart.org account (make sure to save your username and password) and take the online BLS instructor essentials course.

Candidates will need to print off a certificate of completion for the online BLS instructor course and turn it in to the instructor for the hands on, in-person portion of this class which is scheduled separately.

Each candidate MUST have the following items to attend the in-person hands on class:

BLS Provider card
Certificate of completion for BLS Instructor Essentials

Failure to have the required materials on the day of the in-person class will result in the candidate not being permitted to take the Instructor course.
