Description
Broadway Lights in Cabaret is a wonderfully entertaining show of selected songs and story from Broadway Lights - The New Rock Musical; with Book, Lyrics and Music by Dan McCormick, Music Direction, Orchestrations and Arrangements by Taylor Gray, Directed by Paul Blankenship and performed by some of NYC’s finest musical theatre talent; featuring Tomas Bell, Taylor Gray, Deanna Hennelly, Hugh Hysell, Sarah Lazar, Kathryn Markey and Darius-Anthony Robinson!  

Dan McCormick  (Book, Lyrics, Music)

Dan’s play The Violin is currently on a Sold Out Open-Ended run in its first International production in Prague at The Ungelt Theater.  And most recently, The Violin received its World Premiere Off-Broadway production at 59E59 Theatre in NYC and featured Tony Award nominee Robert LuPone.  His play Homeless and How We Got That Way was produced at The Detroit Repertory Theatre and was also awarded a $25,000 Grant from The Arcus Foundation for its NYC Premiere with Roust Theatre Company; both actors nominated for Best Actor in The Oscar Wilde Awards in Detroit.  His play The Morons was nominated for Best Production in Origin Theatre's First Irish Festival and he has been a Finalist in The Samuel French Festival with his play Accidental Encounter.  Dan's 9/11 play On The Day and The Days That Followed has also been accepted into the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum’s Artists Registry and has been performed in University’s, High Schools and Middle Schools in New York, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Georgia; several winning Best Play for their productions.  He is represented by The Robert A. Paul Blankenship  (Director)

Paul’s directing credits include many productions at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City where he also has taught Voice and Speech for the Actor, Acting Styles and Theatre History.  Other directing projects include productions at Missouri State University and Columbia College.  He has been the Production Stage Manager of several Off-Broadway productions including Fiercely IndependentMaestroBecause I Could Not Stop: An Encounter with Emily Dickinson and The Fantasticks. His acting credits include Off-Broadway: Hereafter MusicalIf This Hat Could TalkA Doll’s Life, Elizabeth and EssexColette CollageThe Fantasticks, Café Society. Taylor Gray  (Music Director/Orchestrator)

Taylor has been a part of the creative team of Broadway Lights since late 2018.  He's a proud member of AEA, and he's performed the role of Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet (MDQ) numerous times, including two national tours, the GEVA Theatre Center, and in the upcoming production at Northern Stage.  Taylor has also music directed MDQ twice, and he was the assistant music director/keyboardist for the national tour of A Night With Janis Joplin.  He graduated from the University at Buffalo in '14 with a BFA in Musical Theatre, having performed roles like Jean Valjean (Les Mis), Riff Raff (Rocky Horror) and Doody (Grease).  Taylor is the creator and founder of TIG Music: a music and video production company that offers personalized music/video services to fellow actors and musicians.  He also does a lot of music cover videos as well; all of which can be found on YouTube.  https://www.taylorigray.com
