Description

The Valdosta Symphony Orchestra, winner of The American Prize in Orchestral Performance, returns to the Tifton stage. This program features GRAMMY® Award-winning composer Anna Clyne’s Masquerade and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony no. 4 which is dedicated to the patroness he never met, Nadezhda von Meck. The program also includes Rachmaninov’s sublime Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, featuring 2017 Cliburn Competition Audience Award-winning pianist, Rachel Cheung as soloist.
