Manatee Community Concert Band SCF Symphonic Band Description
A Concert Featuring Band Music Composed to Celebrate Differing Sacred Contexts Selections include a medley from the Broadway hit musical Jesus Christ Superstar; Shalom! (a collection of Jewish folk tunes); the swinging, exuberant march titled Gospel Time; band settings of the beautiful hymns Were You There, Amazing Grace and God of Our Fathers; Adam Gorb’s Yiddish Dances; Aaron Copland’s Simple Gifts and the band transcription of Carmina Burana, the great Carl Orff composition based on ancient monk writings. Special guest soloist Alejandro Guardia will be performing Joseph Horovitz’ Euphonium Concerto. Items Not Allowed
No food or drink is welcome in the performing arts center

The Neel Performing Arts Center is located in Building 11 on the south side of the campus. Googlemaps will direct you to the student union, from there you will need to go south and west.
