Acclaimed singer/actress SARAH CHALFY and pianist/scholar JOCELYN DUECK present an album of European and American cabaret music from across the twentieth century. In more than a decade of musical partnership, Sarah and Jocelyn have blended a dedication to language and attention to detail with passion and irreverence, spinning fresh takes on classical and theatrical music both old and new. In the intimacy and immediacy of the art of cabaret, they find fresh perspective on the “classical” chamber repertoire for which they have always shared a love.
