Description
Anybodys Everybody: One Girl’s West Side Story is a cry for help. After 61 years trapped in the of the most iconic musicals of all time, unsure of her purpose, Anybodys appeals to the only person who can free her from the cycle of tragedy, violence and (something funny): Mr. Stephen Sondheim. While a performance continues onstage, Anybodys - you know, the little girl who wants to be a Jet, fights for her freedom from Musical Theater. Would anybody notice if Anybodys is gone? Or is she more important to West Side Story than she thinks she is? Mary Theresa Archbold pulls from her many, many performances in this tangential role to set the record straight for the character she was born to play.

Written and Performed by Mary Theresa Archbold

Directed by Michole Biancosino

About Mary Theresa Archbold:

Mary Theresa Archbold  has turned in far too many performances of West Side Story playing the same role to count. Her love affair with this role of Anybodys began at birth as she was the 7th child born to her family and the first girl. After her lifetime of rehearsal of the girl among the boys she stepped into her first AEA  show as  this iconic role.  Mary most recently was Stand by for Manhattan Theater Club’s Pulitzer Prize winning production of Martyna Majok’s Cost of Living. Other Off Broadway credits include the World Premiere of Samuel D. Hunter’s The Healing and original short plays by Bekah Brunsetter and David Henry Hwang. Her duo sketch show, Jazz Hand: Tales of a One Armed Woman began at Fringe NYC (Outstanding Actor Award) and eventually got her invited to perform it at the Kennedy Center. Her short dance comedy film Jazz Hand was a finalist in the NBC Shortcuts Festival (Best Actor Award) She has told stories on NPR’s This American Life, The Risk! Podcast, and The Moth (her story will be featured in their upcoming book).

TV: Law & Order: SVU and Bull.
