Description

Gregory Stovetop is a human Olympic Torch. Born and raised in Chelsea, Michigan and currently residing in Upstate, New York, Stovetop has earned a devoted cult following that comes from the underground and is quickly making it’s way up into the airwaves around the world. An electrified Earth Angel, radiating love and passion in an original singular world of sound, Gregory Stovetop is as fluent in Elvis and Johnny Cash as he is in Soundgarden and The Replacements.

As a visual artist, he has created iconic album covers and miniature stop-animation music videos as well as having Psychedelic Illustration shows in New York City in recent years. He has been involved with a good number of awesome bands in the last decade – Snake Dudes, Firecracker Firecracker, Knockin’ Boots, Hy-Lo and the Dangles to name a few, and to see him solo is to witness a true rock star bursting with heart and vibrant color, in his essential element.

Stovetop’s new album “The Good Stuff” was co-produced by Dominic Davis (Jack White, Willie Nelson) and Seth Bernard at La Luna studios in Kalamazoo, MI and features Drew “Captain Midnite” Howard on electric guitar and pedal steel and Adam Danis (the Go Rounds) on drums. Rock and Roll Magic is alive on earth and it is wild and true, flowing through the one and only Gregory Stovetop. He was born for this. The village is starving – cook and don’t stop, Stovetop.

Join us on August 28th when he'll bring "The Good Stuff" to the WNMC House Concert Series

The WNMC House Concert Series was started in spring of 2014 with the intention of bringing fans and musicians together in an intimate setting where the focus is on the music.  Since it's inception, folk, jazz, americana, blues, rock, and bluegrass acts have performed house concerts, sharing songs, stories, and their craft with a small audience.

Previous performers include: The Accidentals; The Crane Wives; The Appleseed Collective; Jon Stickley Trio; Mulebone; Laith Al-Saadi; Holly Bowling; Rachael and Dominic John Davis; Roger Brown; among others!
