Description

An estranged son confronts his family after their recent windfall and a waiter learns the dire repercussions of a bad customer review in the very near future in Tell Me How I Did: a dark double bill of one acts by Justin McDevitt.


STARRING: Steven Ralph, Cat Capece, Kayla King, Thea K. Lammers, Jennifer Pace, and Tyler Adams. Directed by Jessica Harika. 

STEVEN RALPH (Lent/Claudette) Originally from Virginia, Steven Ralph is ecstatic to be performing in Tell Me How I Did. After studying at Virginia Commonwealth University, Steven moved to New York to begin his professional performing career. He’d like to thank his family and friends for their support! 

CAT CAPECE (Axby/Rose) hails from Richmond, Virginia and is thrilled to be making her stage debut at The Duplex with such an amazing cast and crew! After graduating from Virginia Tech, she moved to the Big Apple and completed the two year Meisner program at The William Esper Studio. She thanks her incredible friends, family and loving wife, Nicole, for their unwavering love and support. 

KAYLA KING (Bet/Narrator) is a Wagner College graduate with a major in Theatre Performance and speech. Recently, she has had the privilege of working as the lead acting coach for the promotion of Season 1 & 2 of The Handmaids Tale and Season 5 of Arrested Development. She is the producer/director for The Duplex Gives Back which has raised thousands of dollars for charities on the local and national level. 

THEA K. LAMMERS (Mariella/Gabriel) is an NYC based actor/singer and graduate of Circle in the Square. NYC credits include The Seagull, Into the Woods, Sapien Sapien Sapien, The Runaway Clone and Much Ado About Nothing. Thea is a Resident Actor with the Shakespeare company, Hamlet Isn’t Dead. JENNIFER PACE (Kara) is a native New Yorker and graduate of NYU Experimental Theatre Wing. Jennifer is excited to be part of this project! She can be seen weekly singing it out at Brandy's Piano Bar and Marie's Crisis. For more information visit www.jenniferpace.com. @jenniferallison147

TYLER ADAMS (Duds) is thrilled to be working with this talented cast and creative team. He was most recently seen as Jamie in The Last Five Years at Brooklyn College where his is pursuing his BFA in Acting. Other favorite roles include: Actor Five in Robert O’Hara’sBootycandy, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, and Leo in The Producers. @tyler_everett_adams

JESSICA HARIKA (Director) is thrilled to be helping bring these two new works to life with Cloudbusting Productions. Ms. Harika currently serves as Artistic Director and Resident Stage Director of City Lyric Opera here in NYC. Recent productions include L'elisir d'amore, Romeo et Juliette: An Opera[ish], and Gianni Schicchi. 

CRYSTAL BELLANT (Stage Manager) is a New York based performer. She served as Stage Manager for the 2018 production of Submission. Crystal graduated with a degree in theatre from Valdosta State University. In addition to her work backstage, Crystal is also an accomplished singer and is developing her first solo cabaret. Thanks to my supportive parents and close friends.


JUSTIN MCDEVITT is a New York based writer. He graduated with honors from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study where he designed his own major, choosing to concentrate on the intersections of madness and depression in theater. In 2018, he launched the digital essay collection New York Bar Stories through his production company Cloudbusting. His plays Submission and The True Martini have been produced in New York City.
