Yi Qun Xu, Yoon Lee, Kenneth Renshaw Description
Cellist Yi Qun Xu, a native of China, has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician across the United States. She has won top prizes in China’s national cello competitions as well as second prize at the Juilliard Concerto Competition, first prizes in the 2017 Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra Instrumental Competition, 2008 Antonio Janigro International Cello Competition in Croatia, and the 2010 ASTA National Solo Competition.
The special prize winner of the Anton G. Rubinstein International Piano Competition, Yoon Lee is a solo pianist, chamber musician, and teacher, active in the New York metropolitan area. Yoon has been on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society, Château de Fontainebleau in France, and the Schumann-Haus Museum in Leipzig, in addition to many other stages of New York, Europe, and Seoul. Her live performances have been featured on WQXR, the American classical radio station that serves the New York metropolitan area, and KBS, the national television station of South Korea. competition, and was a Laureate of the 2015 Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition of Belgium.
