Trans Voices Cabaret After it's successful debut, Trans Voices Cabaret returns for a fun afternoon full of showtunes, shenanigans, and surprises - come meet your favorite TGNC singers you didn't know you had including Donnie Cianciotto ("Southern Comfort" at The Public Theater), Em Grosland ("Hir" at Steppenwolf), Maybe Burke ("Tag Your Dead" at Joe's Pub) & more! Join a cast of super-talented musical theater performers for an afternoon of frivolity and show stopping music that is bound to have you singing along and getting extra punches on your ally card! Trans Voices Cabaret stars transmen, transwomen, and non-binary performers with credits at iconic venues like The Public Theater, Steppenwolf, Carnegie Hall, 54 Below, Joe's Pub & more that will knock your socks off and make you cheer not just for musical theater, but for trans visibility as well. Director Donnie Cianciotto (Sam in "Southern Comfort" at The Public Theater) says, "As more film & theater companies produce work with trans and gender non-conforming characters, it's more important than ever to have those roles cast authentically. Too often we hear casting directors say that they just couldn't find any trans talent and Trans Voices Cabaret is our chance to stand up and say, well, here we are!"
