Description

Honeck-Moss Productions is proud to present “In The Works.”  This exciting new series was conceived as an opportunity for composers to try out new work in front of an audience and see how it plays in a supportive environment.  It is also an opportunity to create community among the composers and their performers.

In The Works will be presented monthly and feature four composers or composer teams, each presenting about 15 minutes of new material.  This month features the works of composers : Tim Aumiller & Scott Schneider, Sarah Bonsignore, Robert May, and Joel Waggoner

Tim Aumiller & Scott Schneider began writing and producing in the fall of 2003, the year they founded their company NO HOPE Productions and presented their first full length musical, DOSE!.  Since, they have written three full-length musicals and presented eleven evenings of new music including two sold out shows at the legendary Joe’s Pub – Siren/Kings In Concert and their anniversary celebration Pulling The Plug: a decade of NO HOPE . Their musical Hello, My Name Is Billy was a FringeNYC award winner and a Backstage “Critic’s Pick.” Hailed as a “rocking new musical,” BILLY ran for six weeks at the Duplex Cabaret and The Slipper Room in the spring of 2010 before its 2011 FringeNYC run at Le Poisson Rouge. Their song “Fools Like You” was featured in the 2014 award-winning documentary Actress. That same year New York Theatre Barn presented selections from their upcoming musicalTeach Me To Sing. In 2015, they released The NO HOPE Songbook Volume I: 2003-2013. Their first music video for their song “Evolution” performed by Siren was recorded and filmed in the fall of 2016 and will be released in early 2017. www.nohopeproductions.com

Sarah is a member of NSAI, the Nashville Songwriter's Association International, where she has been listed as "One To Watch" and recommended to their monthly publisher luncheons.
