Andrew Marr Jackie Ashley Description
In January 2013, the broadcaster and author, Andrew Marr, suffered a stroke, hospitalising him for two months. For The Alf Morris Lecture 2016, he and his wife, campaigning journalist Jackie Ashley, will talk about how disability has impacted on their lives.
The Alf Morris Lecture will begin at 7.00pm in the Shaw Theatre. It will be bookended by a drinks Reception from 6.00pm and a Dinner from 8.15pm, both at the adjacent Pullman St. Pancras Hotel All income from ticket sales and donations will go towards The Alf Morris Fund for Independent Living, which provides older and disabled people with practical help to live independently.
